My name is DIrk Öcel, I was born in 1992 in Gelsenkirchen and have been living in Hamburg since the beginning of 2022.

I finished kindergarten in Gelsenkirchen and, as usual, went to several schools until I got my technical college entrance qualification. After that, I went to Mannheim and completed my training as an office communications clerk. This led to me working in the bureaucratic department of various companies. I slowly worked my way up to becoming self-employed.

After not too long, I finally realized that this just wasn't right for me. So I made a cut and started my new life in Hamburg, started acting and set myself the goal of making something big out of it for myself.

Why acting?

Right from the start I enjoyed slipping into other roles, playing someone else, being different! I have always had a great interest in film and television, you could call me a film/series junkie. But what is it like behind the camera? Good question and I always wanted to know. Unfortunately I have always had problems finding something that excites me, which makes me all the happier to have found my passion in acting.

What else do you have?

Besides acting, I really enjoy doing sports. Currently, and for several years now, I keep my body fit in the gym, where I also strengthen my muscles and improve my functionality.

Martial arts are also of interest to me. I have a few years of experience in that, as well as in boxing and Muay Thai.
